Sessions may be online, by phone, or face to face, depending on location.
Counselling can help move beyond something that prevents a person from fully functioning or is holding them back. We listen to what you say without judging or telling you what to do. We try to understand things from your point of view and care about how you feel. It's all about helping you feel heard, supported, and understood. We might ask you questions to help you think about your feelings and find your own answers. We won't give you direct solutions but instead, guide you to discover what's important to you and what makes you happy. We believe you are the expert in your own life; we are here to help you figure things out on your own. It's important that you feel safe and comfortable to share your thoughts and feelings. Sessions are conducted in a private and confidential space with a qualified professional where you can be yourself without any worries and know that someone is there to support you no matter what.
Through Coaching, we can support you in taking small steps to achieve goals. On occasion, anyone might struggle with confidence and be hard on themselves. People can feel stuck and not able to move on or choose perfection over progress. Some may feel they don't deserve happiness or success and don't fight for their values. We can coach on life, career and relationships.
My name is Gosia, I am a qualified counsellor and certified coach and mentor. I speak English and Polish.
I volunteered as a Counsellor for ChildLine, Time for Talking and Grampian Regional Equality Council (GREC). I have a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling from The University of Aberdeen, a Masters in Pedagogy/Andragogy from the University of Warsaw, and a Masters in HR from the Robert Gordon University.
I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and understood. Through therapy or coaching, my purpose is to assist people rediscover how it feels to be enough and live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
I thrive by being there for people who feel low, anxious or have difficulties coping with life.
